Meal Service for Students Beginning April 6

To best protect the health of students, families, and staff members through required social distancing and to comply with the Governor’s prohibition on gatherings of more than 10 people, Fayetteville Public Schools will continue to offer a one-trip 10 meal pick up procedure for student meal service.

Ten (10) meals (5 breakfasts, 5 lunches) will be available each week per child 18 years of age and younger on Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. each week AT 5 LOCATIONS while schools are closed. The USDA requires the child to be present to receive the meals. Meals are pre-packaged to last up to five days and should be consumed within 5 days. Meals will be loaded into the trunk of each car by FPS personnel to ensure everyone's safety. Families should remain in their vehicles during meal pick up and follow the instructions for proceeding in the pickup line. We encourage you to utilize the pickup location nearest to your home.

The FPS Outback will be open each Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. to serve families who need additional assistance with food, and local partner agencies will be available the remaining weekdays to aid with food and other needs.
