A public reception will be held on Monday, April 24 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. in the Event Center at the Fayetteville Public Library to welcome Dr. John Mulford as the new superintendent of Fayetteville Public Schools.
“We hope you will join us at the library! We want to help Dr. Mulford get to know the wonderful parents, students, and community members of Fayetteville," said Nika Waitsman, president of the Fayetteville Board of Education. “Dr. Mulford will be stepping in to lead our school district following Dr. John L Colbert’s retirement in June after 47 years of service to Arkansas public education. This is an important time of transition for Fayetteville Public Schools. Please make plans to stop by and welcome Dr. Mulford and his wife Heather to our amazing city and school district.”
