Trey Antonetti

Trey Antonetti, who currently serves as an assistant band director and color guard director at Fayetteville High School, will be recommended to be the new Director of Fine Arts for Fayetteville Public Schools. The school board will vote on the recommendation at their February 29 meeting.

“The Director of Fine Arts is a new position that the district has been discussing for a couple of years,” said superintendent Dr. John Mulford. “We had an outstanding pool of candidates, and we are happy to see it come to fruition and be filled by someone of Trey’s caliber and commitment. We have outstanding fine arts programs, and I am confident he will do an excellent job in this new role.”

“I am thrilled and grateful to be the first Director of Fine Arts for Fayetteville Public Schools,” said Antonetti. “This is an extraordinary opportunity to advocate for and support our fine arts faculty and staff in shaping the artistic landscape within our schools and community. I look forward to working with our teachers and administrators in continuing the excellence our programs are known for and finding new and exciting ways to inspire creativity and foster a love for the arts for all FPS students.”

Antonetti has served as an assistant band director and color guard director since 2011. He has also served as the color guard director for the University of Arkansas since 2010.
