Fayetteville Public Schools Transition Day

The Fayetteville Public Schools Behavior Services team recently hosted a district-wide Transition Day, bringing together behavior staff and representatives from schools across the district. The purpose of this collaborative event was to ensure that students transitioning between schools—whether due to grade advancement, program changes, or individual needs—have consistent behavior supports and resources in place.

Throughout the day, teams engaged in structured discussions focused on student-specific supports, communication strategies, and alignment of behavioral expectations. Staff reviewed current intervention plans, shared best practices, and identified any gaps in services to ensure smooth transitions for all students. The event reinforced the district’s commitment to providing proactive, student-centered support and fostering continuity in behavioral services across all campuses.
